Corporate or Private Sampling Sessions
At The Sampler we like to share our love of wines. We can arrange tailormade tastings evenings for your corporate or private party. These can include tutored tastings, quizzes, competitions, blind tasting or something more informal. Later opening hours are available for private events.
Tasting Evenings
We will be running various wine tasting evenings throughout the year. These will range from an Introduction to Wine Tasting to six-week courses centred around Fine Wines of the World. If you are on our mailing list then details of these will be sent, otherwise watch this space as future events will be published on the website.
Free Winemaker Tastings
One of the things we like doing most is having producers come into the shop to talk to us about their wines. These happen on Sunday afternoons or weekday evenings and are generally free, with special discounts on the day on case purchases. Being free, they are obviously very popular so you need to get your name down quickly !
