Grochau Cellars Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2015
Grochau Cellars, was established in 2002 by John Grochau with a view to making elegant, complex wines with low intervention and without huge oak use. We think Jon's wines are wonderful examples of Oregon Pinot – typically nuanced with fresh acidity and the hallmark cranberry and earth notes of the Willamette valley.
This has really fresh red berry fruit and acidity with just a hint of earth and mineral complexity. All about lightness of touch and purity of fruit really though, carried by very fine-grained tannins.
