Comte Armand are more famous for their
Pommard, Clos des Epeneaux. This wine is made in Auxey-Duresses (behind Monthelie and Meursault) and is terrific value Burgundy., which thankfully is happy to be drunk in its youth.
Made from 80 year old the wine has of aromas of raspberries, blackcurrant and violets with an impressive density of cassis fruit on the palate.
