Grace Vineyards Koshu Kayagatake
A Japanese wine, from one of the best producers in the country. The Koshu grapes are grown on
volcanic soils in the foothills of Mount Kayagatake. Hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel, the wine is very light and lively. If you haven’t tried Koshu before (and not many of us have!) this is very typical. White flowers, and green apple aromas. The palate is light and fresh with cooked apple flavours and a little creaminess from lees contact. Very fresh and delicate.
