Guy Farge "Grain d'emotion" Condrieu 2016

Condrieu, a tiny area in Northern Rhone, makes the world's most exciting and flavoursome Viogniers. Guy Farge used to sell his grapes to other winemakers but since 2007 he has been producing his own wines - which are wonderful, traditional, pure examples of what the Rhone can offer.

A lovely example of the Viognier grape - an intoxicating perfumed nose of, honeyed peaches, apricots, spring flowers and grass jumps from the glass, and are repeated on the palate. Concentrated, full bodied and soft but with freshness adding an elegance to the finish.
