Gonzalvez Beaujolais Nouveau 2018 Magnum
Beaujolais Nouveau has had a bit of a comeback and what used to be a rather artificial and thin tasting has developed into a more serious, naturally made style if made by a good producer such as France Gonzalvez. She's a bit of a maverick and does things her way, with beautiful results. France works as naturally as possible both in the vineyard and the cellar which shows in her bright, dense and deliciously fruity yet complex wines.
This has a pretty red cherry and plum core, lively acidity and a very drinkable juicyness to it. Perfect, slightly more serious Beaujolais Nouveau than most. While stock lasts!
