Jouves Agudes 2018
The cahors AOC states that wine made in the region be at least 70% Malbec - hence the region is known for its fantastic reds. However, this isn't to say that wonderful whites don't exist too. Instead they have to be labelled Vin de table or Vin de Pays. fabien Jouves is one of the most interesting and experimental winemakers in the region, and this is a lovely example of a Cahors white, made in a Natural style. A delicious dry white blend of Chenin and Chardonnay giving texture and weight, while Sauvignon Blanc and semillon bring tropical fruit flavours.
