Anthill Farms Dolcetto 2016
Anthony Filiberti, David Low and Web Marquez first crossed paths whilst working at Williams-Selyem as cellar rats in 2003. From this friendship, Anthill Farms was born and in 2004 eight and a half barrels were made. Success was virtually instantaneous with Allen Meadows (Burghound), giving the 2005 Abbey-Harris 95 points and a stunning review.
This Dolcetto is made with the same care and attention as the Pinots.
Paola's Vineyard is a three-acre vineyard located high in the Mayacama Range, just inside the Knights Valley appellation. The soils are known as Laniger Loam, a fast-draining, low-fertility soil that is typical for these slopes.
