Interestingly this estate is owned jointly by
Société Grande Millesimes de France and a collaboration between Japanese group Suntory, Barrière Frère (the owners of Château Beychevelle) and the Imperial State of Hétzsolo in Tokaji, Hungary. Producing a reliable, typical Medoc wine, this vintage provides nice early drinking at a very reasonable price - by Bordeaux standards!
Medium-bodied, cherry, currant and underbrush orientated Bordeaux. Easy going and soft with redcurrant and blackberry flavours too, very nice, typical Medoc.
Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon dominant
