Brunet Arpent Sec Vouvray 2017
Brunet harvests everything by hand and is currently working towards organic certification. He believes in as low intervention as possible. He implements a slow, gentle extraction in a pneumatic press to capture the best quality juice. Malolactic fermentation is never sought and rarely occurs.
This wine takes its name from a lieu-dit located in Vernou although the grapes are sourced from a wider range of parcels. It comes from 30 year old vines grown on flint-clay soils, 4-5 months of lees contact and allowed to age in barrel for 6 months.
