Rabl Gruner Veltliner Eiswein 2016
‘Eiswein’ (Icewine) is made by crushing grapes that are affected by noble rot and left on the vine into the winter to freeze. The resulting liquid at pressing is basically a pure sugar and flavour compound must as the water in the grape remains frozen and does not run off.
Peach and floral on the nose, ripe melon and honeysuckle, refreshing acidity and a long finish
