Santa Rita Casa Real 2007
Viña Santa Rita was founded in 1880 by Don Domingo Fernández Concha, a leading businessman and public figure of the time. Don Domingo brought the finest French grape varieties to the rich soils of the Maipo Valley, together with specialized equipment and a team of top winemakers from France.
Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Casa Real Cabernet Sauvignon (100%) spent 15 months in 95% new French oak. Toasty oak, earthy minerals, exotic spices, incense, tobacco, and assorted black fruits lead to a ripe, rich, pleasure-bent wine. Give this nicely proportioned, lengthy effort a minimum of 4-5 years of additional cellaring and drink it from 2016 to 2027."
Region: Maipo Valley, Chile
