Benoit Badoz Cuvée Victoria 2011
Savagnin is one of the Jura’s most famous grapes as it is what is used to make Vin Jaune - an oxidised style of wine (a bit like sherry) that is not to everyone’s tastes.! If you like the wines from this region I uggest you progress to Vin Jaune, it’s one of the most interesting wines in the world. This one is interesting too. It’s slightly oxidive but bursting with flavour.
A complex salty, tangy mineral nose, and a little bit sherried. The palate though is really fresh and lemony, with a great nutty depth.
ABV : 13,5%
