Caymus SS 1997 Magnum Caymus is located in Rutherford in the Napa Valley and is one of the top names for Cabernet Sauvignon - in fact that is all they produce. The Special Selection is made from the best lots and given extended barrel ageing before release.
When we put this on tasting recently we were really impressed - it still retains a lot of fruit and is much more like a Bordeaux in terms of complexity and balance than many Napa Cabs.
