Ferrages Roumery Blanc 2008 Provence doesn’t just do Rosé, it can make wonderfully light fresh summery whites like this one too. Made from the lesser known grapes Clairette and Ugni Blanc (also known as Trebbiano and the base grape for Cognac!) it makes a great aperitif or works brilliantly with grilled or barbequed seafood.
On the nose white flowers and some citrus notes while the palate is crisp with refreshing citrus and mineral flavours.
Grapes: Clairette and Ugni Blanc
