Familongue La Carignan 2007 Based in the Terrasses du Larzac subzone of the Languedoc - a mineral rich area with possibly the best terroir of the region. Domaine de Familongue is owned by a former dentist who now also raises exotic birds - as seen on the label.
Dark in colour with aromas of black cherries, damsons and prunes and some earthy complexity. Full bodied, rich and warming on the palate with a long finish.
