Another Emile Balland Sancerre (red this time), another crazy name. ‘The Field of scandals’. Sounds like a brilliant place doesn't it?! Though we’re unsure what the three people on the label are actually doing...

Anyway, this is classic red Sancerre - 100% Pinot Noir. Softly fruity and fairly light bodied. This is really delicious slightly chilled (especially if you’re slightly foolish like us and assume its white Sancerre and put it in the fridge. Ahem).

Grape: Pinot Noir

Alcohol: 12.5%
