Anne Boecklin Chasselas 2009 No, Anne Boecklin isn’t the winemaker, but a historical 16th century figure who was important to winemaking in Alsace, and whose name is designed to evoke the feminine style of these wines.
Chasselas is one of the lesser known varieties grown in Alsace. It is also grown throughout Switzerland where it is the traditional accompaniment to cheese fondue.
Light and crisp with aromas reminiscent of green apples and citrus notes.
