Anne Boecklin Pinot Gris 2008 No, Anne Boecklin isn’t the winemaker, but a historical 16th century figure who was important to winemaking in Alsace, and the range of wines now made in her name are definitely in the tradition of the region.
Full bodied and balanced, with a slight spiciness. Full flavours of Granny Smith apples and some citrus characteristics, with a hint of nuttiness on the finish.
Grape: Pinot Gris
Alcohol: 12.5%
