Contino Reserva 1995

Contino are quite unusual in Rioja as they are a single estate making wine solely from their own grapes. Located in the subregion of Rioja Alavesa they produce 4 different wines, including an unusual single varietal Graciano. This Reserva is a blend of mostly Tempranillo with a little Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha.

The nose brims with aromas of sweet dried fruits, pot pourri and spice. The palate is extremely soft with some lingering crushed red berry fruit and more oak spice.
