Bodegas Age Fuenmayor GR '59 Bodegas Age was founded in 1881 and is located in Fuenmayor, in the heart of the Rioja Alta. The winery has a total of 500 hectares of vineyards with grapes Tempranillo and Graciano Mazuelo, and maintains the traditional methods of wine making which produce wines that age beautifully. Tempranillo is the premium red wine grape variety from the Rioja giving aromas and flavours of berries, herbaceousness, and an earthy-leathery minerality.
Regardless of age this wine has a lovely freshness and acidity. The palate has cherries mixed with leather. Definitely one to try.
