Cockburns 1960 Whilst Cockburns is not now normally regarded as one of the great Port houses (though with its recent acquisition by the Symingtons this might change) but in 1960 it was at the top of its game. 1960 was a very good vintage for Port although it was later overshadowed by the superb 1963—one of the greatest vintages of the century.
Classic mature vintage port. Pale in colour but still packed with flavour. Sweet, rich Christmas fruit flavours blend with notes of cinnamon and allspice and a hint of toffee. Still going strong!
