Burgaud Cote Rotie 2007 This wine is made purely from Syrah picked off vines over 30 years old. It’s made in a very hands on manner due to the rugged terrain the vines are grown in and Mr Benard Burgaud does everything to make a wine that strongly expresses its origins and the vintage.
The nose wonderfully ripe without being jammy, has hints of sweetness balanced by brown spices and is refreshing and floral. A very inviting nose, leads into a wine with great weight and texture. Fine tannins, defined fruit and lively acidity.
