Musar Blanc 2003

Chateau Musar is located 15 miles North of Bierut. The vineyards and family home have been bombed many times in various conflicts . Alongside these troubles, Musar faces a more familiar problem. The vineyard and winery are 30 miles apart and so the freshly harvested grapes have a slow journey before vinification. This contributes to the unique style of this wine.

A blend of Merwah (Semillon) and Obaideh (a bit like Chardonnay) this won’t be to everyones taste. It’s oxidised in style. The nose suggests that it will be sweet, but it’s dry. Loads of rich barley sugar, apricot and creamy apple flavours.
