Santa Celina Pinot Gris 2010 In 1992 brothers Jacques & François Lurton started producing wine in Argentina and now own an extensive holding in the Mendoza region, which is where 90% of quality wine is produced. Mendoza is situated on a plateau in the foothills of the Andes and ranges in altitude from around 450 metres to 1200 metres above sea level.
The acidity in this Pinot Gris is well balanced allowing a lovely palate of spiced apples to be enjoyed for a considerable length with a fresh zestiness. This wine would work well with slightly spiced food.
