Comte Lafon Macon Villages 09 Comte Lafon is the top maker of Meursault, and his Montrachet’s regularly fetch more than £1,000 per bottle! This is a lot more affordable, but is great example of the house style.
2009 is a really good Burgundian vintage - and this is a good example - generous and drinking beautifully now.
Lovely classic nose with red apples and peaches and an overtone of creamy vanilla. Quite precise on the palate with good freshness on the finish.
