Alpha Zeta Amarone 2009 Made by a Kiwi winemaker in the hills outside Verona. The grapes are picked mid-September and left to dry out in specially ventilated rooms until mid January, making for a denser, more concentrated wine once they are vinified.
Rich and modern, with an attractive fresh perfume. Aromas of ripe black cherry, plum and hints of fruit cake. On the palate it is full bodied and rich, with cherry, vanilla and coffee flavours. It has well balanced tannins and finishes long.
