Clos du Val Chardonnay 2008

Clos du Val was set up in Napa in 1972 by a Frenchman Bernard Porter, aiming to produce, elegant, estate-style wines. The 2008 shows that they’re still succeeding at that today. This is a really excellent, elegant Napa Valley white.

Ripe tropical fruit notes of mango, pineapple and melon meld with spicy, toasty notes from the oak ageing. Full flavoured with a creamy texture and zesty acidity that keeps the wine fresh.
