Badoz Victoria Badoz 2008 Savignin is one of the Jura’s most famous grapes as it is what is used to make Vin Jaune—an oxidised style of wine (a bit like sherry) that is not to everyone’s tastes.! If you like the wines from this region I uggest you progress to Vin Jaune, it’s one of the most interesting wines in the world. This one is interesting too. It’s slightly oxidive but bursting with flavour.
A complex salty, tangy mineral nose, and a little bit sherried. The palate though is really fresh and lemony, with a great nutty depth.
