De Morgenzon Chardonnay 2010 We’ve all heard about gardeners who talk to their plants in the belief that it will help them grow faster. But playing music to plants is a new thing to us. At DeMorgenzon they play music to their vines 24/7—through strategically placed speakers in the vineyard and cellars. And it has to be baroque music—nothing else will do. We try not to be too cynical here—but have to admit even we were shaking our heads a little by this stage. However, through whatever means musical or otherwise, this wine is really lovely.
Full of fresh tropical fruit flavours underpinned by nutty oaky aromas. Classy, elegant and complex—Vivaldi’s summer as wine perhaps?
