Weinbach Pinot Gris Laur. 04 Weinbach Pinot Gris Altenbourg, Cuvee Laurence
Weinbach are one of the most reliable and quality orientated domaines in Alsace. Strongly focussed on purity and elegance the wines are excellent with food, and really reflect the estates’ focus on good vineyard practise and rigorous selection. The grapes for this particular cuvee are sourced from old vines on the lower slopes of Altenbourg.
A rich, full flavoured wine with an opulent and creamy texture. Notes of apricot, glazed peach, honey are paired with a touch of smokiness, burnt toffee and orange. Rich, lip licking finish with a hint of sweetness.
