Erobertparker: “The Weinbach 2009 Riesling Schlossberg Cuvee Saint Catherine appears to reflect its older vines in its textural richness, palpable extract, and spine that are able to effectively support a relatively voluminous (14% alcohol) wine. Quince, white peach, lime, orange, and licorice make for an attractive nose and serve for juiciness and a surprisingly enlivening sense of citricity on the palate that carries into a finish where – conspicuously unlike in some other Rieslings of this collection – a sense of dynamic interaction of flavors emerges. A salty streak serves for saliva inducement and helps encourage the next sip. This should satisfy for at least a decade.” 90 points
