Chave Mon Coeur 2009 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave is a family owned winery and has been passed from father to son since 1481. The estate needs no introduction and enjoys a sparkling reputation for its traditionally styled Hermitage so we are really pleased to be offering their Cotes du Rhone.
This is a wonderfully complex wine for the money. Perfumed and dark at the same time on the nose with earthy aromas lingering in the background. The palate is quite full and ripe – a characteristic of the vintage – and has plenty of power with dark fruit and mineral flavours in abundance.
