Laurent Gauthier Morgon 2010 Laurent Gauthier is now the winemaker at this renowned family estate which has been making wine since 1834. The best Gamay in Morgan is produced in Cote de Py where Gauthier has sizeable vineyards all of which are planted with old vines and then made naturally with little to no filtration.
A lovely soft mouth feel with cherries on the nose and rhubarb and some earthiness on the palate. A surprisingly long finish makes this a great example of Gamay.
