Domaine Decrenisse Coteaux du Lyonnaise

Coteaux du Lyonnais is a relatively unknown appellation just South of Beaujolais. Like Beaujolais, it specialises in red wines made from the Gamay grape variety and very often fermented using semi-carbonic maceration. This technique preserves the fresh fruit flavours in the wine whilst limiting tannins, creating a soft, juicy red. The wines of Franck Decrenisse are creating a resurgence in popularity of wines from this region.

This one is made from old-vine Gamay, giving greater complexity and depth to the wine. Full of ripe, crushed red fruit flavours—this is a great everyday red.
