Peregrine Riesling 2008

A wine from the increasingly popular NZ
region of Central Otago. With their first vintage as recently as 1998, the winery has already established a reputation for producing characterful, bright Rieslings. They also have one of the most interesting looking wineries that I’ve seen for a while.

Lovely perfumed nose of honeysuckle and citrus fruit. This is a mouth filling Riesling with stonefruit, lime and papaya flavours.
There’s a nice balance of the sweetness of the fruit and acidity making it very moreish.
