Calon Segur 1985 ts Top shoulder fills
Situated in Saint Estephe, Calon Segur is classified as a Third Growth and is the northernmost classed growth in the Medoc. At the end of the 17th Century, Calon passed into the hands of Nicolas de Seger - who also owned Latour and Lafite. However, he always said his ‘heart was with Calon’ - and the wine’s label today shows a drawing of a heart around the Chateau’s name.
This is now fully mature and has a lovely delicate palate with lingering dark fruit flavours and notes of spice, leather and earth.
