Warwick Sauvignon 2010

Warwick Estate Professor Black

Warwick Estate are one of South Africa’s top wineries, based in the Stellenbosch region. Most well known for their red wines, they started producing Sauvignon in 2002 and since then have gone from strength to strength. The name comes from a Professor Black who created a hybrid pear variety that was once planted where the Sauvignon vines are now.

Classic South African Sauvignon—not as green and with less tropical fruit than those from NZ, with more minerality and citrus notes. Very refreshing.
