2005 Barolo is a promising vintage with some excellent wines, some potentially outstanding.
Guasti Clement has been making wine in piedmont since 1946 (and is one of our of new Italian finds). The wine is made traditionally and aged in oak casks for 18 months.
Chewy, yet balanced and pretty with the
flavours building on the palate. This has plenty of vibrant cherry fruit, and spice, with minerals and toasted oak.
