Jagnet Gruner Veltliner 2010

Karpatska Perla, or ‘Carpathian Pearl’ are situated in Slovakia’s most important vineyard area; Senkvice, situated about 19 kilometres from Bratislava. This is another Eastern European winery that has seen a good deal of investment in the past few years and a consequent upswing the quality of the wines
.
This is a bright, fresh wine with a lovely balance of floral, herbal (dill) and honeyed aromas. The palate shows a hint of almond alongside green apple and dill flavours and that hint of honey following from the nose.
