Jagnet St Laurent 2010

Karpatska Perla, or ‘Carpathian Pearl’ are situated in Slovakia’s most important vineyard area; Senkvice, situated about 19 kilometres from Bratislava. This is another Eastern European winery that has seen a good deal of investment in the past few years and a consequent upswing in the quality of the wines.

This has a pure garnet and red colour with
aromas of cherries and redcurrant. The palate has wild, sour cherries with a hint of dark chocolate and a medium body. Plenty of flavour with fine, chalky tannins and an appealing, fruit driven character.
