Certan de May 2004

Chateau Certan de May is a small 5 hectare estate in Pomerol. It is now under the consultancy of Michel Rolland and is marketed by the Moueix family (owners of Petrus) so it should come as no surprise that its reputation has grown considerably in recent years.

Neal Martin: “Another great from the Moueix stable. A wonderful nose of blackberry, raisin and dark chocolate. A very smooth entry, seamless tannins and velvety texture. Firm grip. Lithe and persistent on the finish. A decadent Pomerol that has an irresistible sensuous finish. Excellent.” 92-94 points
