Des Cretes Marsanne 2010
A family owned estate from the Minervois in the Pays d’Oc, Domaine des Crêtes has 150 hectares under vine, which surrounds their stunning 12th century château. Innovative thinking prompted the owners to label their white Minervois Marsanne Roussanne as a vin de pays (country wine) so the varieties could be specified on the bottle. Partial barrel-fermentation gives depth to this superb white.
Ripe white peach and elderflowers on the nose. Medium bodied with a lovely silky texture and a fresh finish. Aromatic and very tasty, this is incredible value for money.
