Element 20 2010 This is a really exciting wine—it’s the first
English white The Sampler has really loved.
A blend of Bacchus and Chardonnay it’s a really pure, balanced wine—something we’ve wanted to say for years about a wine from just down the road. It’s made from the fruit from Denbies in Surrey with great passion and attention to detail.
Gorgeous, aromatic nose of citrus, elderflower, a touch of peach and something grassy—a bit like a fantasy English garden. The palate is really fresh - the Bacchus brings a lemony zip while the
Chardonnay adds a bit of weight . It’s the finish that is most impressive though—really clean and long with all those lovely flavours and an added minerality.
Grapes: Chardonnay, Bacchus
