Dows 10yo Tawny Tawny port is aged in oak barrels for an extensive amount of time (10 years in this case). This results in a port of lighter colour and with different flavours from LBV or vintage—more spicy and oxidative notes and less intensely fruity. It is best served chilled—great with hard cheeses and nuts. Along with Warre’s and Graham’s. Dow’s are family owned by the Symington’s—generally considered as one of the top port companies.
