Miguel Torres Late Harvest 08 Miguel Torres Late Harvest Riesling
Miguel Torres is a top name in Spain and has recently been branching out into the New World. This sweetie is from his Chilean winery. The Riesling grapes were left on the vine until June (the equivalent of December) and picked when shrivelled with noble rot. Where else could you get a bottle of noble-rot sweet wine at this price from than Chile?
Decanter: “Honey, wild flowers and fresh grapes with a bright acidity cutting through the sweetness—a hint of rancio character too. Very nicely made.”
Regional Trophy 2011: Sweet over £10
Grape: Riesling
