Anakena Carmenere 2010 Anakena is a very well regarded Chilean winery, producing wines from a number of different regions. This Carmenere comes from a single vineyard in the Rapel Valley.
Translucent ruby in the glass. Vegetal nose, like cooked greens, with cherry underneath. In the mouth, powerful, fresh flavors of cherry, spice, and some steel. Fairly full-bodied, with moderate acidity and mild tannins. Well-balanced, very long finish.
