Jacque Beaufort's life story sounds like something out of a movie. A health scare in the late 1960's caused by exposure to synthetic pesticides led to a complete change in the philosophy of the estate and by 1971 they were fully organic. Jacques now uses homeopathic treatments to maintain the natural balance of the vineyards and even rejects the use of sulphur and copper - something even the strictest of biodynamic producers still use.

Grapes: 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay
