Domaine d'En Segur Cuvee Madeleine


Another of Jamie and Seb’s South West France trip finds , this oak-fermented and -aged Chardonnay is a Vin de Pays de Côtes du Tarn (yes, we thought it was a bit of a mouthful too) from Gaillac. We got a few wines from this Domaine, and all are great value for money.

Some lovely pear notes on the nose, the oak coming through while retaining all of the fresh fruit character. Textured, balanced and with great length. An excellent match with any light pork dish.
