Von Buhl Spatburgunder 2008 The Reichsrat von Buhl estate, located in the Pfalz region, has been a family-owned business for over 150 years and has ranked among the most prestigious estates in Germany ever since. They’re more famous for their whites but their Pinot Noir is a great example of how lovely German red wine can be - light fruit flavours, and like the whites, great acidity making it really food friendly.
Pretty nose of cherry blossom, strawberries and an earthy undercurrent. A juicy, medium-bodied palate, full of red berry fruits and a savoury finish.
